October 2018: Crouch End Prize Draw, We are Hiring & Therapist Updates...

Published on 6th October 2018

Hello all,

We hope you’re keeping warm and dry on this suddenly very autumnal Saturday! We’re a little late with our newsletter this month, but it’s just because we’ve got lots to tell you about…

ROBERT IS BACK & THE CROUCH END PRIZE DRAW

Robert completed his epic 3,000 mile trek from Lands’ End to John O Groat’s late last month, and returned to his normal hours in the clinic from last week. As a reminder, his hours are Monday - Thursday from 9am to 9pm with occasional appointments available at the weekend.

But just because he’s back doesn’t mean the campaigning has stopped! Walking to Save Dogs has teamed up with a host of (mostly) Crouch End businesses to create an enormous prize draw to support Robert’s efforts.

With prizes ranging from two nights in a deluxe Scottish resort, to drinks and meals at outlets across Crouch End, from a luxury full car valet to a photoshoot for your pets, you’ve got to check out the details of the prize draw at the bottom of this email...

JUSTIN’S NEW TRAINING

We just can’t seem to keep him from studying! Last month, Justin completed a CPD course in working therapeutically for headaches, and this month will be learning about taping. Taping is a technique often used by athletes that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting motion. Next month, he’s heading to Spain to complete a residential training course in Craniosacral therapy as he’s passionate about developing his use of cranial techniques in his Osteopathy. Don’t worry though, he’ll still be in the clinic during his regular hours of Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Sundays from 9am - 9pm.

KATJA’S EXTENDED HOURS

Katja has recently extended her working hours here at the clinic as her children are now a little older and can be without mum for a little longer! You can now book appointments with Katja on Tuesdays from 16.30 - 21.00, Wednesdays from 10.00 - 17.00 and Thursdays from 17.30 - 21.00.

ALISON D REFLEXOLOGY … AND NOW MASSAGE!

You may know Alison D as one of the faces behind the reception desk or as our resident reflexologist. However, from November, Alison D will also be offering Holistic Massage and Deep Tissue Massage on Mondays from 9.30 - 14.00. She’s also just begun training with Robert and Justin in Sports Massage and will be adding that to her extending repertoire in the near future….

WE ARE HIRING

We’re sad to say that Laura, the head of our reception team will be leaving us next month for pastures south of the river. We are looking for someone local to take over the management of our Front of House team, 3 to 4 days per week. If you, or somebody you know may be interested in the role, please get in touch via info@integratedbodydynamics.co.uk and we can provide more information on request.

That’s it from us for this month, but do check out the prize draw information below and as usual, do get in touch if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you in the clinic for a treatment again soon!
